1.- Identification of the owner

This Cookie Policy governs the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website myholidayupgrade.com.

The website is owned by Dinou Potes S.L.U., a company operating commercially under the name Holiday Upgrade.

2.- What are cookies?

3.- Types of cookies used by the website

3.1.- Technical or necessary cookies

These are necessary to allow browsing through the website and use of its basic functions. They may allow, for example, session identification, security management, remembering reservation items, processing payments, managing deposits, pre-authorisations or the mandatory pre-authorisation of a security deposit charge where technically necessary for online contracting or for the provision of the service requested by the user, access to secure areas or use of tools necessary for online contracting.

These cookies are necessary for the operation of the website and do not require the user’s consent where they are strictly necessary to provide a requested service.

3.2.- Preference or personalisation cookies

Among the third parties involved in website operation or the online contracting process are, according to the technical audit carried out, Shopify, Booqable, Pandectes, Google Analytics 4 and Meta/Facebook, without prejudice to other providers that may be added, modified or removed in the future.

The specific use of cookies may vary depending on the technical configuration in force at any time. Holiday Upgrade shall keep the cookie configuration panel and the list of cookies actually used updated.

5.- List of cookies used

The following list is based on the technical audit carried out with Pandectes GDPR Compliance on 28 June 2026 and manual verification in the browser using DevTools on 27 and 28 June 2026.

6.- Consent for the use of cookies

Holiday Upgrade shall not install non-technical or non-necessary cookies without first obtaining the user’s consent where such consent is required.

Where cookies are not strictly necessary for website operation or for the provision of a service requested by the user, Holiday Upgrade shall request the user’s consent before installing such cookies or accessing information stored on the user’s device.

Consent shall be requested through a banner, configuration panel or cookie management tool that allows the user to give or refuse consent freely, in an informed, specific and unambiguous manner.

The consent management tool shall allow the user to:

• Accept all cookies.

• Reject non-necessary cookies as easily as accepting them.

Mere browsing of the website shall not by itself be considered valid consent for the installation of non-necessary cookies.

However, disabling certain technical or necessary cookies may affect proper operation of the website, reservation management, security, payment processing, deposit management, pre-authorisations, mandatory pre-authorisation of a security deposit charge, session maintenance, product availability, cart, checkout, Shop Pay, the reservation process or certain functionalities.

9.- Personal data processing through cookies

Where the use of cookies involves the processing of personal data, such processing shall be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection rules and Holiday Upgrade’s Privacy Policy.

Technical or necessary cookies are used on the basis that they are necessary to provide a service requested by the user or for the technical operation of the website. Analytics, measurement, behavioural advertising or marketing cookies shall be used on the basis of user consent where required.

10.- International transfers

Some third-party cookies or integrated tools may involve the processing of data by providers located outside the European Economic Area or access to information by entities located in third countries.

In particular, third-party tools such as Google Analytics 4, Meta/Facebook or certain Shopify technology services may involve international data access or processing, depending on their configuration, infrastructure and current terms.

Holiday Upgrade may update this Cookie Policy at any time to adapt it to regulatory, technical, functional, operational changes or changes resulting from the addition, modification or removal of cookies and similar technologies.

The current version of the Cookie Policy shall be the one published on the website at any given time.

Prevalence of the Spanish version

In the event of any discrepancy between the Spanish version and any translation, the Spanish version shall prevail, unless expressly stated otherwise in the reservation or applicable contractual document.
